Let's hear it for the Alamo Cheerleaders!!!
Surely someone out there can do better than this video! What we need is for a few of our ex-cheerleaders to put on a reunion show - and record it.

David, YOu never cease to amaze me!!! And you are quite the singer still...even harmony!!! I do not think I could do that! Well...you get an A+ for that and Mrs. Jacobson would be very proud! Ha! Now we all will have to try our hand at this thing...but I do not remember any school songs etc...or even cheers except the ones from college...like blood makes the grass grow for football...but perhaps some of us need to use UTUBE and do videos of ourselves so we can see one another! HHHHA! Now there is an idea!
David, This blog is getting better all the time!!! Keep the videos coming. One cheer I remember and I love sharing with my grandkids is as follows: Boom-a-lacka,boom-a-lacka., Bow, wow, wow. Chick-a-lacka, chick-a-lacka,chow, chow, chow. Boom-a-lacka, chow, Chick-a-lacka bow, Alamo High School and how. I think I was in first grade or so when the high school cheer leaders chanted this rousing cheer! The actions are that you kick up a leg and clap under the leg as you say your "a-lacka's" clap as you say "bow,wow wow's." Jump high on your last "how." Can I be remembering this right? Does anyone else remember this cheer or was it a dream? It has entertained me for over fifty years!!! David, Maybe you can demonstrate for all of us on your next video.
Gayle - I would hope that the next time you are practicing that cheer, you will video record it and post it here for the benefit of all posterity. Your audience awaits!
When Gayle demonstrates this cheer for all to see there will be a bright light coming over the hill!! She will have to perform those leg kicks soon!! David, you really have the touch and such talent. I think I should send you my pictures :>} Thanks for all the input.
