Eagles Nest
How Many of you have stories of Eagles nest ! I can remember having Appam, or neighborhood picnics there as a 3rd or 4th grader. Maybe it was a field day at school too ?? Does anyone remember where Horse Shoe Bend was at. The fable goes, Paul Bunyan's horse stepped there to make the imprint in the farmland.. smile.

Thanks Dennis for posting the pictures. John and I were just talking about Horseshoe Bend. I think I was there once with Cynthia Dullum. I remember that it was wooded but I suppose it was only brush and Juneberry trees. I used to pretend that tall weeds were trees. Such is the life growing up on the plains!
Gayle, I think you and I were there together...I just cannot remember but seems I went swimming or something in that area...I was trying to find it the last time I was out a few years ago...was it really deep as it never dried up did it or is that just in my dreams as well! Ha! Gayle, you and I went over to that lake towards Montana...cannot remember it right now but will when I close this I suppose. Anyway, we were suntanning and I lost my new contacts in the sand...and we tried to find that "needle in a haystack"...good grief...did I get it when I got home! HA!
