Great pictures, Dennis.
What resolution are you scanning them at? I've been using 300dpi (and sometimes 600) and they seem to enlarge quite well so you can see more detail.
I wish I would have been more observant back then; it seems like there are so many things that I never really looked closely enough at. For example, Appam. I don't know how many times I drove by on the highway. But I never really stopped to see what was there except in the most superficial way. Lots of history there. I hope you and other Appamites will post more pictures. My sisters Gloria and Marlene started school there.

A few years ago I stopped in Appam with Marlene and took some pictures of the school...I will try to find one to post here as it has decayed alot but was able still to go up part of the stairs inside to the second floor. Found a toboggan in the basement that I was tempted to take but decided against that. Will try to find that. Thanks Dennis for the post. Clarice went to school there at Hartland as well.
