The senior lettermen of the 1967-68 school year didn't reign over one of the most successful winning steaks in the history of Alamo High School. However, due to its small size, we all had a chance to participate, and share the joys and sorrows of athletic competition. And, in some small way, those experiences helped shape who we are.In its storied history, Alamo High School won many tournament championships. However, I don't remember them nor do I have pictures of those celebratory events. But some of you out there do. So please, if you can, share those events with us so that the history of our valued school is not lost in the passage of time.
An old brick building with dust filled halls and classrooms still stands in Alamo; but children's voices no longer echo through the classrooms and it is ever so gradually fading from memory. However, here in the vast reaches of internet space, our old school is struggling for life. Old memories and friendships are being renewed, and the past is reborn! Join us, dear friends, in helping to bring back that which has been lost. Post your pictures, publish your stories: keep our school alive!
