Oh those good old days....

This was the era of 'Sing along with Mitch', wasn't it? Well, you couldn't have a better group to sing along with than AHS's 1966-67 Junior Quartet. Mrs. Jacobson was very proud, as were all of us.

And the famous (at least in Alamo) Senior Quartet. How about a reunion tour? This group could really belt it out!

And the story would be incomplete without this fine picture of the Alamo High School Band, once again from the steller 1966-67 school year, I believe. This full two tuba marching band features three majorettes and 4 (count them) snare drums. It doesn't get better than this, folks!

Oh my goodness! Have not seen those pictures in ages! This is so nice of you to scan them in...I hope others will follow suit...but I guess the internet is still not easy for many but once you try it it is alot of fun! Thanks for the trip down memory lane...which i was trying to remember...what year was it that the band placed as the top marching band at Estes Park...was that 1966? Cliff really had us in top performance!

What a great picture of the band.. I remember learning the drums just so i could make the trip. Remember Jackie hitting her knee on the back of a car as she rode with me on a scooter.
