The Appam one appears to be Eldon and Oleda (SP) Johnson's house west of Appam. I have no idea of who posted the video. Any thoughts?
Actually this is a good idea. Do any of you have a video camera that you could use to take and post videos of the houses that remain in Alamo, Appam, and the area around there? It would be nice to have a record of what remains. Also - how about more pictures and old movies - I can help get them converted to video, any scanning required, and get them posted. They don't do anyone any good setting in the back of a drawer or in an old box.

How cold is it, anyway?

I shot the videos of the houses and stuff near Appam. My in-laws live in Williston, so I go rural exploring when I go to visit them. The Eldon Johnson house is also on the cover of a book that is out of print, but is still available on amazon called Ghosts in the Wilderness by Tony Worobiec. I've got some pics posted of the surrounding area on my flickr account, www.flickr.com, just search under Appam or abandoned north dakota and you should be able to find them. I'm glad somebody looks at my videos!
Thanks,

I really have enjoyed looking at your pictures at Flicr etc...and hee of course. I was raised in Alamo and now live in Bemidji, MN but love to go back and view these old places and remember when they were so full of life and laughter! Thanks for taking such great pictures!
