Snow in Alamo

Snow in Alamo
Sometimes deep,
And always cold!

The crafty wind
With quiet sweep
It's snowdrifts mold.

And late at night,
Its shrieks may keep
Our dreams on hold!

But with morning sun
We shake off sleep
And again grow bold!

Alamo from up high

If you haven't had a chance to use Google Earth, here are some shots of Alamo and the old school. Quite an interesting tool!! Also shown is an image taken (I believe) by Roy Lohse from a plane looking down from the north.

Anybody out there remember when and where this picture was taken. I'm wondering if it could be when we (as I remember it) took third place at Cheyenne during 'the biggest little rodeo of them all' parade. And does someone have a better picture? This one is a bit bleached out. What year is this, any way?

Classes of 1971 and 1973

Classes of 1971 and 1973: please report! Maybe someone can retake these pictures and get them better focused. They are important records!

Marjory Lohse happened to have some snapshots of the girls of the Class of 1971. Anyone out there know what the occasion was?
